Andrew S. Edwards is a Maine native who grew up in Dyer Brook in Aroostook County.  He attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine where he double-majored in History and Government/Legal Studies with a minor in Education.  While at Bowdoin College Andrew completed and successfully wrote and defended an Honors thesis, was elected to Student Government, and worked evenings.

After receiving his A.B. from Bowdoin College in 2009 Andrew served a year as an Americorps VISTA volunteer at Deering High School in Portland, Maine where he mentored and worked with students on access to higher education.

After completing his year in Americorps Andrew enrolled at the University of Maine School of Law.  While at the Maine School of Law Andrew worked as a Student Attorney in the General Practice Clinic where he represented low-income Mainers and worked as an intern during the summers at Patrick E. Hunt, P.A. in Island Falls, Maine.

In 2013 Andrew graduated from the University of Maine School of Law and was recognized with the Pro Bono Public Service Award for his volunteer work at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.

Andrew S. Edwards was admitted to the Maine State Bar in 2013 and opened Northland Legal Services, LLC, PA.  Since that time Andrew has successfully represented clients facing every type of criminal allegations including Class A felonies, OUI ‘s, Domestic Violence Assault, Burglaries, and Theft among others.  Andrew has also handled a number of personal injury cases involving serious injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
